Tablets with the Longest Battery Life

Tablets with the Longest Battery Life

Whether you are reading an eBook while in your bed or carrying your tablet with you on the train to stave off boredom, there’s nothing worse than having to stop what you’re doing to charge it. It’s no fun being connected to the wall playing Threes or watching Netflix. We’ve determined the tablets which last longest on a charge, in our testing. The Test for Laptop Mag Battery finds out how long you can use a tablet before you have to find the charging cable after continuously browsing the web over Wi-Fi. You can check the tablets with the most endurance in the following list:

1.iPad Pro 10.5-inch (13:55)

As we’ve tested recently, Apple’s latest tablet, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, is the longest lasting tablet. Thanks to its A10X Fusion CPU (even rivalling some laptops) for such an amazingly fast performance with 13 hours and 55 minutes of endurance which is a lot for a device. A body just 0.2 inches thin carries it all.

  • It has a battery life that is actually very long-lasting.

  • It gets pricey when you add a keyboard and pencil.
  1. iPad 9.7-inch (12:59)

Besides Apple’s 9.7-inch laptop that lasts just under 13 hours on a charge, we also loved the 9.7-inch iPad at such an affordable $329 price with bright display and great speakers. Although it doesn’t support Smart Keyboard or the Apple Pencil, it’s still a device with wonderful media consumption.

for an Android tablet at $299, the Huawei MediaPad M3 is a bit pricey, and it lasts 8:40 on a charge. However, you get a refined design with a bright display and great audio quality, and solid performance as well as Huawei’s EMUI screen for Android 6.0, all for the same price.

The Asus ZenPad 8 with a bright and accurate display, great sound and a lightweight design that makes you forget you’re carrying it; last 8 hours and 22 minutes. But unfortunately, while switching between apps, it has a tendency to pause.

Verdict

The Asus ZenPad Z8 is a 7.9-inch Android tablet that gives you solid performance and a beautiful display as well.

  1. Asus ZenPad 3S 10 (8:09)

The iPad Pro offers a better balance of battery life and speed where many Windows tablets and 2-in-1s sacrifice endurance for power. On the Laptop Mag Battery Test, this 12.9-inch slate lasted for more than 10 hours. The iPad Pro won’t replace your laptop, like a Surface can, and it also isn’t cheap. But the processor; crisp, 5-million-pixel display; and optional Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard are the few things that make iPad Pro’s A9X a versatile device.

Verdict

Asus ZenPad 3S 10, with a great media consumption, is a stylish 9.7-inch Android tablet that gives you quite a good speed.

Pros
  • It gives fast performance.
  • It has a bright, vibrant display.
  • It comes in a sleek, beautiful design.
