A rival can be selected before starting the game. Beating the rival during the race is bet by the players. The one who successfully places above them grants the best reward.
Plenty of jumps are used by the players which sees cartoon wings springing out of the sides of the car. Smoke erupting from the tyres can be seen during drift while the likes steaks out during quick acceleration.
If you don’t like those cartoon effects, you can tone them down or completely disable them.
Criterion Games and Electronic Arts are back yet again and this time in the new gameplay trailer, ASAP Rocky is featured which confirms his role within Need for Speed Unbound. Players can take a closer look at precision driving mode, Takeover Events and the skills and style needed to rule the streets of Lakeshore City.
It looks like the precision driving mode that is designed to be replayable is led by ASAP Rocky. The takeover events will have players smashing collectibles, pulling huge drifts and proving their skills to the most stylish street racers of Lakeshore.
The release date of Need for Speed Unbound is December 2nd for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S via Epic Games Store, Steam, Origin and the EA app. You can now preorder the game on all platforms. A Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition is also included.
